50 Years of Freedom Anniversary Trip

Vietnam, Cambodia & the Mekong River

12-nights Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap ~ February 17-March 1, 2023

with optional 3-night Hanoi Extension

Please join us for a very special Cruise and Tour taking place in 2023. It's a celebration of freedom with true American heroes. From February 17 - March 1, 2023, you have the opportunity to join a dozen former POWs who will be returning to Vietnam for the 50th Anniversary of their release and return to freedom.

It’s difficult to put into words just how meaningful this 50th Anniversary of Freedom Cruise and Tour will be for the POWs and those members who are joining them. Retired Air Force Colonel Bob Certain, himself a former POW, worked with Brennco to design the Hanoi land package, which includes visits to the Hanoi Hilton Museum, John McCain marker, Kham Thein B52 Memorial, and Son Tay Prison camp.

At the farewell dinner, we will be joined by a former Vietnamese MiG pilot. This trip is about forgiveness and closure, and what could epitomize those emotions more than dining with your former enemy. And of course, it is a celebration for those brave American POWs who 50 years ago had their freedom restored.

You can take part in this historic journey and accompany these former POWs for an expedition which promises to be two of the most emotionally significant weeks of your life. Only a few rooms remain on the all-suite Mekong Jewel so please contact us now to learn more.

Two of the most beautiful, historic and friendly places in all of Asia, dynamic Vietnam and pastoral Cambodia are intriguing studies in contrast. Each possesses its own unique charm and social traditions, its own tragic history and complex past. In many ways, a visit here is less about the sights you see than it is about the people you meet and the experiences you have along the way.

Ho Chi Minh City offers a heady mixture of old and new, often surprising visitors with its charm. As the lifeblood of Southeast Asia, the Mekong teems with colorful floating villages and mementos of its French Colonial past. Phnom Penh, Cambodia's thriving capital, is fast-forwarding to the future yet retains a provincial intimacy. And colorful Siem Reap provides the gateway to the vast UNESCO-designated jungle temple complex of Angkor Wat.

MEKONG JEWEL

Debuting in January 2020, the Mekong Jewel is the newest and most luxurious ship on the Mekong River. This all-suite Super Ship includes two dining venues: one main restaurant and an al fresco eatery on the upper deck. The Mekong Jewel replaces the Mekong Navigator and was constructed with sustainable, eco-friendly materials, and features a swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room, gym, hair salon, nail bar, two lounges and a library.
